Local fresh Indian dishes
We’re excited to announce that we’re putting down roots in Algiers! Thali Llama, your local pop-up for Indian cuisine, is opening Plume Algiers, a fast-casual restaurant focused on the regional Indian cooking we’ve come to revere in all our travels and studies.
While we are eager to showcase our approach to Indian food in the comfort of our newly-renovated dining room, like everyone else we are trying to navigate the complexities of this pandemic. We’ll be offering to-go service at the outset, for the safety of our guests and staff, and we think we’ve come up with some creative ways to present the cuisine we love in takeaway form.
In the very near future, we’ll be offering dishes from all over the Indian subcontinent in house, directly out of our open kitchen. At the food bar, diners will be able to watch the chefs at work, and on the weekends we’ll be curating a special chef’s tasting menu - applying a fine-dining approach using fresh, local ingredients.
We’ve waited a long time to present this amazing food to the city of New Orleans and we welcome you to indulge in regional Indian cooking with us.
